King's Coronation Cup 2023

Guards Polo Club

The Kings Coronation Cup 2023 was the first event put on by King of Games International Ltd since the signing in April of its long term commercial partnership agreement with the HPA to manage its International polo events.

The two great games of polo weren’t the only star stoppers of the day. Hospitality guests enjoyed a Laurent Perrier Champagne reception in the clubhouse followed by a delicious lunch from Lush by Tom Kerridge. The England team joined the guests for a Q&A during starters with a fun explanation of the game from our commentator Karl Ude-Martinez.

VIP guests filled the Guards clubhouse enjoying drinks and excellent food looking out on the Queen’s ground. Gazebos lined the opposite side of the field filled with HPA guests and players and their families. The grandstand lawn boasted food trucks and its own bar for spectators to enjoy by the saddle-span stage where the after polo party would later commence.

Following prize-giving, the Rick Parfitt Jr Band encouraged everyone to join them at the stage for an incredible concert. The crowd loved them, and feedback includes it being the best polo party in a long while! They were followed by DJ Lyndsay and then JJ who carried on the party until late.

Amazing feedback has been received from the day which we are taking on board for an even bigger and better King’s Coronation Cup next year.
